Put "RezSwitch.exe", "res.ini"
in the same folder as your executable. Open the file "res.ini" with
a text editor. This file is used to configure RezSwitch, and has
the following format:
PrgmToRun=MyProgram.exe
Edit the line "PrgmToRun" to specify the name of your executable. Enter your preferred horizontal and and vertical resolution settings in the next lines. Acceptable values for the depth are 8, 16, and 32. To start your program, open
the file "RezSwitch". Rename this file whatever you like.

Operation Notes
1. On the Mac, use SimpleText to edit the configuration file, not TextEdit. This is important. 2. "Tasklist.exe" is not always needed, but should be included just in case. 3. When making cross-platform presentations, give your Mac and Win executables the same name (except for the ".exe"). RezSwitch launches applications. To switch the resolution and launch other file types (such as PowerPoint presentations, HTML files, and QuickTime movies), use DiskJockey CD-ROM Builder. |
